After the CDC happened, I was told by my science teacher, Mrs. Sluzky, to create a class where it’s centered around design thinking. I created a Prezi, and started putting together ideas that they had showed us from the CDC, such as the “How Do You Oreo?” activity. I gave the class an idea, on how can we improve the cafeteria, but after that, they all were brimming with new ideas that were being said. I believe that if you give students a chance to wonder, then some great things can come out of it. Students were collaborating and communicating with each other, and if there was a bump in the road, they would work it out. It was fun to see everyone having a great time. The question now is how can we make more classes like this, but centered around the subject that each teacher is teaching? How can we allow people to show their creative side while still learning?
